got an off-site uptime kuma page for my homelab services, running on a digital ocean VPS at the cheapest price possible. i figured off-site was best because even though it'd be easy for me to self-host, it'd be useless to alert for downtime if it was within my homelab. so i used patreon money (which i am very grateful for!) to decide on a VPS. i'm quite happy with it.
i collected some resources for the astro static site generator over here on my site. i've slowed down on messing with astro but i wanna pick it up again. i toyed with making an icon image gallery with it and my friend ms boba actually wrote a custom content collection loader to make it work, which i am super grateful for!
june plans.... ok i gotta lock in and replace one of my servers because it's from 2008-2010 and is really showing its age. so many problems and crashes lately. it's frustrating. i have the money but no energy to research!
i also want to work on more personal projects, like my custom PHP fan listing site and some prompt generators i generate with bash scripts. they're tons of fun but i've been so busy with fujocoded and personal server work haha!
I got the issue that was slowing down access to my site solved! It was DNS in the end, some records got cached multiple times and that got things confused and resulted in regular timeouts.
I want to get back to working out a simple semantic HTML stylesheet so that I can slap it on and start putting together pages and changing it as needs and issues become more apparent. Just gotta remind myself I can afford to get sucked in now actually.
Just been CSSing tbh … trying to give my site a bullet journal vibe to make up for the fact that I don't use a real bullet journal because I track everything digitally, but simultaneously I'm envious of everyone else's cute stationery.

I know this feel so very much. ^^;; I want to archive stuff but I also want to do other hobbies and also have other general things to do... Need more hours in a day.
I end up wasting a lot of my time on meaningless things - playing mobile phone games! - that could have been put to better use. I do find things go in cycles and at some point I will focus solely on the websites for a few weeks.
It's not meaningless if you're having fun, though. I know I'm having a good time with my current hobbies (mostly model building) and I'm the kind of person who works in cycles, too. We'll get to our stuff when the time is right. ^_^
Recently I've made a page dedicated to my physical games collection. I think it turned out pretty cute, and I'm glad I found the music player I used for that specific page through someone I follow.
I don't know if I'll finish it in June, but I kinda wanna finally start on asking a shrine for one of my favourite characters (Takeuchi from Mars Red). I've never made a shrine before so I'm gonna do a bunch of peeking at other shrines first though. (^o^)
