Oh this is really helpful and thorough, thank you for sharing! Especially the tip on what RSS Reader to use, having a browser extension is neat. I mostly use Dreamwidth to track feeds but for more IRL stuff, this will come in handy!
In case someone finds that helpful, I wrote a guide on how to find the RSS feed for any AO3 tags and add them to Dreamwidth a while back.
