I scrabbled through trying to build a site, borked it up immensely, started from scratch, borked it up immensely and started from scratch again, and haven’t been able to touch it in the past week due to Unprecedented Weather Events that luckily haven’t caused personal harm to anything but my internet connection.
So I guess what I worked on can best be described as learning. I worked on learning. I broke things and trawled forums for hours to fix them, I figured out how tabbed pages work from a cool YouTube video, I’m going to touch up on flexbox as soon as I can because I think it’s the magic bullet to finally make things work how I want— I learned a lot, really, and it was a fun experience. This event was the exact push I needed to find a new hobby.
What's next for your small web plans? Where will you go from here?
I’ll make the website for real this time, that’s what I’ll do! Maybe share some original writing or a shrine to some of my blorbos. And then… I have plans to learn about how to implement JavaScript for little things, so that’s going to be fun!
