I'm very familiar with that particular distraction xD I find it easier to just dip in and out of fanfic (whether reading or writing), whereas site building requires a bit more dedicated sitting down, and so it's harder to motivate myself to work on it. And yet when I do make time, I find it surprisingly easy to do 'little and often'. I'm hoping this event will provide an opportunity for getting over the initial hurdle! Good luck to both of us! ^^
